Vault is a small self-hosted sync service running on a single node. Files are encrypted at rest, every change is versioned, and access is invite-only — there is no public sign-up.
End-to-end encryption
Data is sealed client-side before upload. The server stores ciphertext and never holds the passphrase.
Versioned history
Every write keeps the previous revision for 90 days. Restore any file to an earlier point without a support ticket.
Continuous sync
The desktop agent keeps a long-lived connection open and pushes deltas as they happen, not on a schedule.
Predictable storage
Fixed quota per account, no per-request billing, no analytics. What you upload is what you pay for.
Invite-only
Accounts are created by the administrator. There is no registration form and no password recovery by email.
Plain formats
Exports are ordinary archives. Nothing is locked in a proprietary container, so leaving is as easy as arriving.
